“The Faces that Make Up Tourism”

Tourism is a driving force that gives hope, new ideas and a better future to many people who possibly otherwise would have a less fruitful path. Collected among the 100 countries she has visited as a photographer, this talk will present a rainbow of faces and places that make up the global tourism map. Each photograph will present a person, their job, location and an anecdote. These are real people with real stories.

Parallel Workshop on the Tourism Jobs of the Future (Hall B)
This workshop, organized by UNWTO in collaboration with its affiliate member in India, Outlook Responsible Tourism Initiative, intends to provide a platform for tourism MSMEs and social entrepreneurs in India to explore how to accommodate in the future tourism trends, scale up their activities and tourism practices and create more job opportunities in their communities.
